Dont Rest Your Head

Don't Rest Your Head is an independently produced RPG by Fred Hicks and Evil Hat Productions. The premise of the game is this: you are an insomniac. And not just a normal insomniac any more - one of the Awake. You can see the secret entrances into the Mad City, the extra rooms and doors and whole buildings that you couldn't see before. And now that you can see it, the Nightmares that live in the Mad City can see you too. Staying awake means confronting the insanity. Going to sleep is suicide. Don't rest your head.



The book starts with an intro and an example of play - part of a character's introduction sequence. The example is a little heavy on game terminology, which makes it tough to understand on first read. On the other hand, since it has page numbers included, it can act as a quick reference later on.
