This is the first graphic novel tie-in for Cursed Empire fantasy role-playing game. It is the first part of a two part story. The story is set a few years before present day in the World of Thargos i.e. when players start their own campaign. The Imperial City of Mages (Metbetoch) wishes to claim her independence from the Empire in a time where many Southern cities are rising up in armed revolt against the Empire. The Imperial Army has no choice but to march on the City and bend its will. This is a age of heroes where a single individual can make the difference between victory and total defeat.
